The current market...

It has been a good few years of exceptionally good performing property asset values - property price growth has stabilized but is still following a slower upward trend, due to good economic growth in the economy, rising input material costs, and a growing middle class.  Recent interest rate rises and the implementation of the new credit act on 1 June 2007 has had an influence on credit extension, but in general the property market is exceptionally sound.  Stricter credit extension laws could potentially cause strong rental increases due to rising demand for rental property.  

 

This can because of many reasons, i.e. not being able to buy because credit payments are not up to date, resistance to buying because of limited knowledge of the new credit act, property prices still rising faster than income levels, etc.  Over the long term, residential property will always remain a good asset class in which to create wealth.  We are here to help with any questions you may have should you wish to own property.
